Europeans are sick of tourists. Vacation rentals and cheap flights have turned whole cities into party resorts.

And this is why we hate you.

You are not aware (or maybe its that you don’t care) about your surroundings. Either intentionally or ignorantly. And the result is competing realities.

The world where people are trying to live a normal life and a world where people are on perpetual vacation. While we stay put, the revolving door of tourism spits out a constant stream of transient holiday makers. It makes us sick.

You may be on vacation, but we are not. We live here. We work here. We have to try to sleep with your hootin’ and hollerin’. Then we have to walk over your vomit on our way out the door.

Then we’re told to be grateful for your impact on our economy.

If you want to be on full vacation mode, I suggest you go to a resort purpose-built for that. If you want to visit our city, be respectful. Don’t piss on my doorstep.

Or I suggest go blow chunks somewhere else. 😘
